A "c" for the muppet book?
How dare you! We muppets are a proud and humorous people! And we will not stand for these shenanigans. Our story was the phantom story as seen through the lens of our kind. It fits perfectly with the original story, sans any hint of evil trickery, or hate. Its a perfect phantom adaptation! You will fix your grade right now! At the very least it deserves a "b". There is a ton of schlock that has gotten better grades.

Oh, no! I'm terribly sorry you feel that way. I simply felt that on the grand scale of literary achievement, Weiss's version was not one I would have recalled as the most poignant or allegorically meaningful. That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it--I did! It was lovely... as you've said, a perfect view of a story through the magically happifying lens of Muppetness.

But I'm afraid the C stands. I feel that it is fair.

I already explained to you that I'm grading you based on the merit of your book, not your status as a Muppet. And you know what? Your book was worth a C. That's right. No higher.
