I am auditioning for the Kopit Phantom next week. Not being familiar with the show, I wondered if anyone could tell me about the part of Carlotta. It seems she has only one song, does she have much dialogue? I'm thinking that might be a good part for me if I were asked a preference but I don't want a GIANT role. Any information would be appreciated.

Carlotta is a great role in the Yeston/Kopit production; it's fairly sizable, but I'm not sure exactly what you might think of as "too large", but you can find more information on the show at the Unofficial Yeston & Kopit Phantom Page.
